An Idea Mapping Success Blogs Weblog
The August 8, 2009 posting introduced my husband, Kevin Nast, and the Money Maps he creates for the portfolio review meetings he has for his clients. This second example (also created using MindManager) shows a template of a more complicated type of portfolio.
How many of us have walked out of our portfolio review meeting with a three ring binder filled with boiler plate information? Most of this intended to impress us and justify the broker’s annual management fees when all we really wanted to know was “where did we start?” and “where are we now?”. With a Money Map on a single sheet of paper, one can readily see their Portfolio $ummary. The client’s customized map serves as the cover page with the supporting compliance approved documentation from Albridge Solutions behind. A total of 5 – 7 pages versus the three ring binder. Not bad, eh?
If you would like someone to guide you through these tough economic times, I encourage you to drop him an email at knast(at)tfamail(dot)com or call him at 248-347-1888.
