You’ll notice the company name change because this past Friday InterSecurities, Inc. absorbed its sister company Transamerica. The parent company for both Broker/Dealers, AEGON, chose to capitalize on the name recognition and logo of Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc.

Kevin’s first and second Idea Mapping examples are called Money Maps. He uses them during the portfolio review meetings with his clients. The Money Maps enable his clients to see all of their accounts on a single sheet of paper. Each Money Map is accompanied by a compliance approved statement that he accesses through Albridge Solutions.

Kevin calls today’s Idea Mapping example a Profile Map. A prospective client requested a resume during their initial meeting. In order to make it clear, simple, and easy to read, Kevin used MindManager to create this Profile Map. In a relatively short period of time, the client could assess Kevin’s work history, experience in the industry and required licensing.
