An Idea Mapping Success Blogs Weblog
Hint #14 revolves around trying to capture information in your idea map when your brain is working faster than you can write or type. It is easy to forget an idea in this situation. Rather than getting frustrated about losing this brilliant thought, simply draw an empty branch where you think that idea was going to go — and move on. Keep generating ideas in other parts of the map. Often times the idea will pop back, and the empty branch challenges the brain to do just that!
P.S. The Idea Mapping Squidoo Lens is now ranked #8 in Business and #205 overall. I wonder if we can hit #1? I’ll keep you posted.
