An Idea Mapping Success Blogs Weblog
Mark Slatin advises corporations, organizations and individuals on how to grow their business by building trusting relationships. He is the president of True Colors Consulting LLC. Typically clients will go through some or all phases of his service offerings – from consulting, training, coaching and speaking (not necessarily in that order). He’s built components of the model over the last two years but never linked them together. The idea map helped him to see all four areas on one sheet and allow his mind to see how they integrate. He believes it will help him structure solutions to client goals and to serve them better.
Mark states, “It will also allow me to tell a story of how I might be able to serve them and, consequently, allow them to visualize the solution. In short, it allowed me to indeed, tap into my hidden brain power to achieve more success in business!”
The purpose of this blog is to share idea mapping examples and related learning from my Idea Mapping, Memory, Speed Reading, and Certification Workshops. This blog is dedicated to my Certified Idea Mapping Instructors, my clients, Mind Mapping and Idea Mapping practitioners around the globe.

I’m still a beginner at idea mapping and have already seen tremendous results. I have the habit of using a linear process to process my thoughts. Therefore I’m trying to “herd cats” all the time. Idea mapping allows me to capture all my thoughts and sort them into a usable form.
Jamie, you’re book was inspiring and encouraging. The map you featured in this blog allowed me to see my client delivery model in a fresh, new way. Awesome stuff!
