alberto-martinez-auto-checking-for-business-managersSeveral days ago I was introduced to a new website and two new mind mapping fans. First, I want you to meet Alexander Uslontsev. He is the designer behind Mappio.com — a mind map library that lets you share and browse maps in MindManager, FreeMind, and jpg formats. To celebrate the launch of this site Alexander is running a sweepstake (ends Jan 12, 2008) where each upload or blog post is an entry to this contest. The winner gets an iPod or a Cow for an African Village. See Details.

Alexander’s main goals for Mappio include:

  • build the largest online library of mind maps
  • give newcomers a starting point
  • see what a good mind map looks like
  • provide mind mapping professionals with a place to publish and share their ideas

The same day I got an email with a question from Alberto Martinez from Spain. To make a long story short, Alberto mentioned that he had uploaded some of his mind maps onto Mappio. The map featured in this blog (and also on Mappio) is one he’s titled “Auto-Checking For Business Managers”. Whether he is facing a re-engineering process or rethinking various issues, Alberto uses this map to help him recheck his work from various perspectives in order to determine if things are going well.

For the pdf version of this map go to my website. If you click on any column it will sort alphabetically and you can then search by author or map title, etc.

Thank you Alexander and Alberto!
