An Idea Mapping Success Blogs Weblog
I first featured idea maps from Melinda Dang on December 11, 2008 and then again on December 13, 2008. She is in the 11th grade and is the daughter of Steve Dang who was one of my Boeing workshop participants in October. If she let’s me I’m going to follow her progress right on into college!
Melinda is now creating Idea Maps to study for the vocabulary portion of the SAT Test. She has shared 5 maps addressing the following words: Didactic, Conjecture, Abase, Adroit, Adulate, Austere, and Echelon. What I think is fascinating is watching her maps take quite a change by the time she gets to the Abase & Adroit maps. It’s as if she’s getting more comfortable and all of a sudden an explosion of color and imagery take over.
Today she has another Physics test, and she has prepared by creating idea maps of the material. I’ll let you know how she does. No pressure Melinda!
The purpose of this blog is to share idea mapping examples and related learning from my Idea Mapping, Memory, Speed Reading, and Certification Workshops. This blog is dedicated to my Certified Idea Mapping Instructors, my clients, Mind Mapping and Idea Mapping practitioners around the globe.
