An Idea Mapping Success Blogs Weblog
Yesterday concluded the first Idea Mapping Workshop in the entire Middle East. This event was organized by Forward Training and Consulting LLC. It was one of the most inspiring groups I have ever had the privilege to teach in 18 years of doing this work. Workshop success was so exceptional that we have already scheduled the next training for May 9-10, 2010 in Amman. I’ll let you know when registration is open, but if you feel you must get on the waitlist now you can call +(962-6) 4611277 or email Idea@FWDTC.com.
Teams of people from the following companies were in attendance: Zain, Ahli Bank, King Hussain Cancer Center, ETQ, IHPCO, Idea JWT, Jordan International School, Smart Minds, Petralip, UNDP, Kettaneh, Elixir Day Spa, Lebanese Conflict Resolution Network, and Dana Productions.
Here are a few photos from the workshop. More to come in follow-up postings!
The purpose of this blog is to share idea mapping examples and related learning from my Idea Mapping, Memory, Speed Reading, and Certification Workshops. This blog is dedicated to my Certified Idea Mapping Instructors, my clients, Mind Mapping and Idea Mapping practitioners around the globe.

Hello Again 🙂
Yesterday, I tought my sister in law how to memorize a list of words using the numbers and the room techniques, and she could remember the 20 words easily… she just shouted: “why didn’t they teach us this at school, I always suffered memorizing medicing names and their ingredients! “she’s a pharmasist”… Nothing is late, this will help her teaching her kids…. Thanks to Jamie.

Mervat – Not only have YOU now passed along a great gift to your sister-in-law and her children, but you’ve reinforced your own learning. I’m very proud of you. Hope to see you in May my friend!

Delighted to hear that your visit to Jordan was a huge success. I can see from the other comments that people are already passing on their knowledge and sharing the “gift” you’ve given to them.
Just like when I first read your book, people are wondering why they hadn’t learnt these methods years ago. Not everyone is able to meet you and experience the techniques in person. However, I whole-heartedly recommend that everyone should own a copy of your book “Idea Mapping” because it’s the next best thing to attending a Workshop.
Hoping to see you soon,
Kaye

What i have learnt was more than beneficial because i teach generations and this technique has facilitated my students’ learning process and made me become more creative, more organized, more useful for many!! I thank you Jamie and Safa with the bottom of my heart for not letting this unique opportunity go away from me!! I am more than excited to be one of the FIRST participants here in Jordan. God bless you. Now all my lessons are explained via idea mapping. My recent lesson was “Future Shock”. You can imagine the map!!!!
