Name Tent Activity Category

In the previous posting I shared some name tents created by participants in the 2-day public Idea Mapping Workshop I taught two weeks ago. Since no one was able to successfully guess the names I’ll tell you.
The first name was Carol Ann. She had a bunch of Christmas carols minus the “s” followed by an [...]

Last week I held a 2-day public workshop in Murfreesboro, TN followed by two 3-hour sessions at MTSU. Over the next few posts I’ll share some photo’s and idea mapping examples from the week. Here are three name tents from the public workshop. The second one is one of the most unusual ones I have [...]

Ian and Dan both got it correct — Shawn or Sean depending on the spelling.
Remember you can still register for tomorrow’s 90-minute Idea Mapping 101 webinar that I will give at 11:00am EST. If you register (or listen to the recorded version) you will receive a $99 rebate when signing up for one of my [...]

As you have seen in previous postings, each participant is asked to create [...]

Larimer County Government – Part 1

In: Name Tent Activity

In June of 2008 I paid my first visit to Larimer County Government in Fort Collins, CO. There were 24 people in the 2-day workshop. I’ve posted photos, successes, and examples from that workshop previously if you want to search on “Larimer County”.
February 2009 the top leadership went through the 2-day workshop followed by a [...]

The first one was the most difficult. The picture is a raw piece of meat + N, so rawn becomes the name Ron. The others were Mark and Maggie and weren’t as tough.

Every six months or so I feature a name tent that my workshop participants create for their introductions.
Today I decided to have a triple play for you to guess.  These are from two workshops I taught at Boeing last fall in Seattle. Photos are courtesy of Dave Ringer who directs the classes taught through the [...]
