An Idea Mapping Success Blogs Weblog
Tomorrow I will be interviewed for two 30-minute segments with Tara Kachaturoff, host and producer of “Michigan Entrepreneur“. The first show will be about Idea Mapping and will be aired on July 16, 2007. In the second show I will be demonstrating how maps are created. That segment will air on September 17, 2007. Once I have copies of the shows, they will be made available for you to view.
To watch a 7-minute clip of the first show click here.
Read the article titled “Thinking Creatively with Jamie Nast” featured in this month’s Mindjet newsletter. This article will point you to other maps and helpful links.
On July 17-18 Jamie Nast will be teaching an open public 2-day workshop titled, “Idea Mapping: A Learning Workshop”. Registration is required in advance and seating is limited to the first 24 participants. The course will be held at Mindjet’s new offices in Novi, Michigan. Join us for an exciting learning experience.
This is photo #2 in today’s trilogy. This is a close-up shot of one of the tables. When participants arrive it gets even more colorful when the set of markers contained in the Idea Mapping Kits also decorated the table. Notice all the toys? Wouldn’t this be an inviting classroom?
On June 5th I ran a 45-minute webinar that was hosted by Mindjet. See the June 5th posting for details. That webinar is now available in the recorded version for you to listen to at your convenience. Click on this link and get ready to improve your memory!
Last week 11 % of participants scored over 12 points (out of 20 possible) on the initial memory test, and no one had a perfect score. 87% scored over 12 points on the second test when applying the memory skills, and 58% had a perfect score. The results speak for themselves.
Last week 28 participants were the first from ACH (a subsidiary of Ford) to attend my 2-day workshop called “Idea Mapping: A Learning Workshop“. These 28 will pave the way for future ACH participants who want to learn how to learn. Their response was excellent, and I hope to share some of their examples with you in the days to come. The next workshop has been scheduled for July 25-26, 2007.
Yesterday’s webinar generated a few follow-up items for me. http://www.usamemorychampionship.com/ is the link to some memory resources along with Scott Hagwood’s site. I do have some good articles if anyone is interested. Just email me info(at) ideamappingsuccess(dot)com and I can send them to you.
The other question that came up is about finding good clip art sites to add images to your maps. If anyone has a favorite, could you please post a comment to this? Many thanks.
