An Idea Mapping Success Blogs Weblog
Frank Medlar is the Director of Workplace Learning and Career Development for a Boston area college. We met in August 2008 when he attended a 2-day public Idea Mapping Workshop. Today (and for the rest of the month) one of his idea maps is featured in my column in the monthly Mindjet Newsletter. So I […]
Liza Jennings Seiner is a CIMI (Certified Idea Mapping Instructor) that has shared several idea mapping examples since the inception of this blog — including her idea map that celebrated the life of Linda Goodremont who lost her battle with cancer. (Search on “Liza Seiner” for her other contributions.) That was Idea Map #8, and […]
The answer to yesterday’s brain-teaser is Rogers. Kroger is a national grocery store chain in the USA, so the solution is: Kroger (not Farmer Jack’s) minus the “K” plus an “S”. Scott Knitter from EDS was the first person to correctly guess the name and Lisa Harvey Roach (Certified Idea Mapping Instructor) was the second.
Debbie Showler has been an idea mapping expert since 1992. She actually attended one of the first workshops I ever taught in Canada. In addition to her idea mapping adventures, Debbie is a Principal Instructor for the Masters Certificate Program taught by Atocrates, Inc. for the Schulich Executive Education Centre. The July Trainers Summit in […]
Larisa Brigevich is the Director of the Global Research Library at Franklin Templeton. In April 2008 she completed the 5-day Idea Mapping Certification workshop. Her first contribution to this blog was January 7, 2008 and she has had several since then. I’ll let her explain how she used idea mapping and MindManager to manage this […]
Joining me for the workshop in Toronto was CIMI (Certified Idea Mapping Instructor) Debbie Showler from Whitby, Ontario. During this activity participants test their new drawing skill out by creating a cartoon face from a host of examples. Silly girl!
Glenn Stennes is a brilliant consultant and CIMI (Certified Idea Mapping Instructor). He recently created this fun idea map to plan a barbeque. In some instances it might be challenging to understand someone else’s idea map. In this case I’m sure you can figure out what all the images represent. The colors and images bring […]
The release of the Mindjet Newsletter was originally scheduled for June 17, 2008, so the original post went up that day. This map reviews “Connect” from a beginner’s mindset. For more on this new collaboration tool see the June 17, 2008 posting. This idea map is featured in today’s Mindjet Newsletter.
CIMI Larisa Brigevich from Franklin Templeton Investments, presented a paper last week in Seattle about offshoring library jobs to India. She made her presentation using an Idea Map. Read the full story.
Larisa Brigevich is the Director of the Global Research Library at Franklin Templeton. In April 2008 she completed the 5-day Idea Mapping Certification workshop. Her first contribution to this blog was January 7, 2008. I’ll let her explain this idea map in her own words. I know her map is quite large, so if you […]
